In the Dark v0.3
In the Dark » Devlog
I’ve updated In the Dark to version 0.3
A brief list of changes:
- Formatting updates on the rules sheet for easier at-a-glance procedure checks during play
- Prowl changed to Skulk to better describe sneaky skullduggery
- Playset faction levels adjusted – there are now Level 5 factions who will always severely outclass the crew
- Added editable playbook & playset templates in IDML format, for editing in InDesign & Affinity
Coming soon: Fandom playsets! I’ve made a handful of playsets for ManaPot Studios’ ttrpg fanfic streams, including Star Wars, Gotham City, and Firefly playsets. I’ll be releasing those for free in the near future

1 more tweak I'm considering – changing "Skirmish" to "Attack"
I'm finding that players want to attack inanimate objects (doors, computer systems, etc), and "Skirmish" doesn't feel right.
But, because "Attack" is a such prevalent term across ttrpgs, it has a lot of mechanical baggage (and it's kinda boring). Open to thoughts, if anyone has them!
